Inside Jessica Cherkewich's Rustic & Romantic Wedding

Jessica Cherkewich, communications specialist at Banana Republic, started three spreadsheets the day after she got engaged to financial advisor Darren Shamess.

"It was important to us that we do as much as we could ourselves," says Cherkewich.

Cherkewich and Shamess dotted their venue, Toronto's Berkeley Events, with whimsical DIY projects including a candy bar filled with family favourite treats and a handcrafted cake topper. The result of their hard work and planning was a beautiful union full of traditional and modern elements.
