Stone Fox Bride
While some brides-to-be long for jewel-encrusted bodices and princess-style skirts, others cringe at the thought of puffy organza and bedazzled silk. For those that wish to eschew the traditional bridal gown, Stone Fox Bride, a New York-based showroom, has welcomed a new collection by owner Molly Guy. According to their website, the Stone Fox bride is "...not into uptown. Or anything puffy or fluffy. Stiff flowers, pink cupcakes. Fuck weddings." It's only fitting that it was voted as 2012's "Best Anti-Bridezilla Bridal Boutique" in Time Out New York.
Guy chose her friends— including Girls actress Jemima Kirke, jewellery designer Pamela Love and punk couture designer Mandy Coon—to model the dresses in an unique, laid-back shoot. As Guy told Into The Gloss, the shoot was "totally messy and amazing. Just like marriage. And love." Wise words.
