In response to the worldwide hysteria over the royal engagement, everyone is trying to capitalize on the impending nuptials. The latest? QVC, the American home shopping network, debuted the Princess Simulated Sapphire Ring last week that can be yours for just $39.54. While it pales in comparison to the real royal bauble – an 18-carat blue sapphire encircled with white diamonds, famously owned by Princess Diana before landing on Kate’s ring finger – it is an affordable alternative. Kenneth Jane Lane created the QVC replica, but we think that a slew of sapphire rings will be popping up in the near future.
Canadians can’t shop on QVC, but we want to know if you think that Canada’s Shopping Channel should whip up an affordable version of the royal rock? Take our poll below.
