As the world gears up for the wedding of the century, the princess in waiting graces the February cover of Tatler magazine. Getting a pop art makeover for the occasion, the colourful cover mimics Andy Warhol’s famed picture of Marilyn Monroe. While all eyes are on the royal-to-be, there is still no news on what she will wear to walk down the aisle on April 29th.
Other details about the royal nuptials have emerged, including how the couple will travel to and from the ceremony. Keeping true to her down to earth roots, Middleton has decided to forgo the traditional horse and carriage and instead will arrive at Westminster Abbey by car for the 11 a.m. service. Not to worry though, there will still be a fairytale exit, with the newlyweds returning to Buckingham Palace by glass carriage along a processional route. Upon arrival at the palace, the couple is expected to wave to the public from a balcony. It is also being reported that the Archbishop of Canterbury will marry the couple, the Dean of Westminster will conduct the service, and the Bishop of London will give the address. Following the service, the Queen will host a reception at Buckingham Palace and the day will conclude with a private dinner and dance hosted by Prince Charles.
