Matthew Williamson, the king of boho and bold colors, has just announced that he will be launching a bridal collection this spring. While we can’t imagine Williamsons designs minus the vibrant hues, we anticipate that they will be similar to the line of wedding dresses he designed for Net-a-Porter last spring. The new collection will offer brides a comprehensive range of styles—all set in an ivory palette— including short dresses, long dresses, corseted styles and gowns that are perfect for more laid-back glamourous destination weddings. When asked what sparked his desire to create a bridal collection the designer said, “it was a natural progression from my evening wear collections which are well known for their softly draped and diaphanous silk gowns”. A line of accessories will be released alongside the gowns, including headbands, beaded stoles, clutch bags and fur shrugs.
