Fashion and food collided at the launch party for our new column and video series, made in partnership with Metro: Cooking With FLARE. Every month, stars of Toronto’s fashion and food worlds will team up with our editors to create a runway-inspired recipe. In our first edition, appearing in our food-themed May issue, Canadian Arts and Fashion Award–winning designers (and totally cute couple) Sid Neigum and Chloé Gordon share their recipe for runway-inspired ravioli. Last night, they were the guests of honour as 200 fashion-weekers gathered in Toronto’s King West club district to sample their dish (their culinary chops are as solid as their fashion cred) and toast the close of another runway season. The Flaunt Boutique beauty station provided post-nosh touch-ups throughout the night, giving everyone an easy excuse to keep going back for more.
