Episode 3: Going Neo-Traditional in Madrid
Vintage shopping enthusiasts will find a little piece of heaven in Madrid’s Barrio Malasaña neighbourhood, where the El Mercado de Motores market takes over the train museum once a month. Our bloggers are delighted when Alanna finds the perfect pair of sunnies and Tamy meets her favourtie hat designer. Exploring the eclectic stalls has been one of the highlights of their trip.

Next, they head to Malababa Madrid, a unique shop featuring dyed-leather handbags and jewellery, and one of Queen Letizia’s faves.

Last stop of the day is a vintage fashion boutique called Kinda Kinks Madrid, which specializes in ’80s and ’90s finds. The charming owner explains how he sources clothes from everywhere in Europe and North America to find items that fit the British punk vibes.

To take in their last night in Madrid, the girls wind down at La Cocina de San Antón for a few drinks at the rooftop bar, and reminisce about their time spent in the vibrant and bustling Spanish capital.
