Co-hosts Nic Jones and Jackie O'Brien Jones, Owner of Jonathan+Olivia with their son Phoenix Jones
One of the pioneer storefronts of Toronto's famed Ossington Street shopping strip is Jackie O'Brien Jones' well-curated boutique Jonathan+Olivia. Last night, amid sporadic downpours of spring rain, Jones and her husband Nic co-hosted an event where admission was a charitable effort: guests brought a donation to Jonathan+Olivia's clothing drive initiative, "This Is Queen West S.O.S," in support of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (or CAMH as it's familiarly known). The drive is running until this Sunday at 6pm and will help outfit CAMH patients as part of the Suits Me Fine Boutique program.
The positive energy was high as fellow co-hosts Jeremy Laing, Frank Griggs, Ruth Tal, Brendan Canning, Derrick Hodgson, Alison Milne, Heidi Sopinka and Claudia Dey from Horses Atelier, Richard Lambert and Jesse Girard mingled with folks from the worlds of fashion, interior design, music and art. Then the sun came out just in time for a fiery Queen West sunset, an apt gift for a job well done.
