Art + music + fashion + food = pretty much the best night ever, right? Right! On Thursday, June 2, Toronto’s chicest, most fun party returns, and this year it’s bigger and better than ever. Presented by Max Mara, Power Ball XVIII: Pleasure Principle will be taking over the Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery (and raising mad funds) for an evening of art exploration and desire-seeking. Feast your eyes on next-level works of art from likes of Kempster Jamrozik Studio, Laura Kikauka, Lorna Mills, Jordan Söderberg Mills and Karen Tam, with a special performance at the VIP party by famed NYC-based artist Ryan McNamara (guys, we LOVE him!). Enjoy some nibbles by Parts & Labour (last year featured a chandelier made of grilled octopus, just sayin’) and drinks from Château de Charmes and Toronto Distillery Company. Then get dowwwwn to music by CRSB, Teo Nio and DJ Mark Farina.
FLARE has also curated a v. v. secret installation to take place during the event. But you’ll only get to see it if you’re there. Sooo, get your tickets here. And stay tuned to @ThePowerPlantTO for all the updates.
