Ellie is poised to hit the podium in Rio with momentum on her side: she placed seventh at the 2015 FIG World Championships and third at the 2016 American Cup, both in the all-around. She was also one of only five athletes to win five medals at the Toronto Pan Am Games in 2015. Here's the kicker: she's only 20 years old!
