Syd Tha Kyd

Syd Tha Kyd’s got a dreamy flow that melts into sensual synth melodies. Syd (a.k.a. Sydney Bennett) is locked in with OFWGKTA’s label and has been cheffing beats for years. Her recent work with band, The Internet and their album Ego Death, showcases Syd’s blue-hued vocal projections and full-bodied basslines (album of the year, TBH). Luckily she’s been dropping some of her own work on Soundcloud, and word is that she’s working on a solo album for 2017. Can’t wait? We suggest the entire Ego Death album, but specifically the Kaytranada-produced hits like “Girl” and the intimate instrumentals in “Special Affair/Curse”.
