In Newfoundland and Labrador, the number of folks who come out to support the LGBTQ community at Pride just keeps getting bigger and bigger. There is a strong sense of togetherness and resilience and we are here to soak up every minute of it. Whether this is your first time or your tenth time, there are an endless list of rainbow-filled festivities to add to your bucket list every single year. The low-down: Don’t forget to mark this empowering and inclusive event in your Pride Week calendar! The whole community comes out to kick off Pride week with a two-hour parade through the streets of downtown St. John’s.

Pride at the Park
The low-down: After the Pride Parade, head down to the park for refreshments, vendors and live music from YUNG DUMB.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Trivia
The low-down: If you’re a fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race, it’s time to break out the flash cards—because this trivia night is sure to put your knowledge to the test!

Pride at the Garden
The low-down: Spend a beautiful summer night in the garden learning all about plants and wildlife—plus, roll up your sleeves to plant your own rainbow flowers.

The low-down: If you’ve *always* wanted to try pole dancing, now is the time! Slip on some yoga pants and swing by for these drop-in pole dancing lessons.
