It’s about coming as you are, dressing however you like and embracing the diverse people that make up this resilient community. Pride Parade

The low-down: When it comes to Pride Parade fashion, more is more. Break out your brightest colours, sparkliest body paint and rainbow accessories for the annual parade and join the rest of the city to celebrate the LGBTQ community.
When: June 23 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Fees: Free
Find it: Starts at Spadina Cres. E. and 24th St. (under the University Bridge) and ends at 4th Ave. S. and 21st St., saskatoonpride.ca

Art in the Park

The low-down: Spend an afternoon celebrating culture and community, where people from all walks of life can come together to enjoy amazing art, music, collaborative art-making, food and kid-friendly events.
When: June 10 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Live in Colour Fashion Show

The low-down: This year’s show features amazing local designers and artists. Break out your finest fashions to enjoy a *glamorous* evening of fashion, art and live entertainment (including an acrobatic performance!) Hosted by drag performer RITA BAGA, this night is sure to be nothing short of fabulous!
When: June 15 from 6 p.m. t0 12 a.m.
Fees: $20 per person for regular tickets in advance, $40 per person for VIP tickets in advance, $25 per person for regular tickets at the door, $50 per person for VIP tickets at the door

Drag Queen Bingo

The low-down: Add a little sex appeal to your scorecard at this bingo fundraiser for a night full of entertainment and a chance to win some amazing prizes!
When: June 20 from 7 p.m. to 11:55 p.m.
Fees: Admission is by donation; bingo cards start at $2 per person

Gurls! Ladies’ Night

The low-down: Time to start polishing off your dance moves! For those who are looking to spend a Friday night dancing in a chic lounge with a rainbow of cocktails in hand, this event will be at the top of your Pride Week bucket list.
When: June 23 to 24 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Fees: $20 per person in advance, $25 per person at the door

Detox Pool Party

The low-down: Spend the last few hours of Pride Week the best way we all know how: lounging by the pool on an Insta-worthy floatie with a fruity bevvie. Wind down after a week chock-full of celebrating and spreading the LGBTQ love.
