You have a lot to offer but don’t waste your words—or your energy—being everyone else’s therapist or mediator. Especially if you find yourself getting pulled into online conversations and Twitter debates that don’t amount to anything.

Turn off your devices, even if it’s just for an hour or two a day. And turn your attention toward a book, magazine or writing a page in your journal.
