The gals over at Shopgirls in Toronto are at it again. After raising thousands of dollars for charity last year, owner Michelle Germain and the team are plotting another fashionable soiree to give back in style. The go-to shop for Canadian apparel and artwork has partnered again with Windfall, the only Canadian clothing bank that distributes new clothes to those in need, for the 2nd annual fashion show entitled Walk the Walk for Windfall. Fans and friends of the store will hit the runway to strut their stuff in the latest Canadian designer duds from the fall collections.
To showcase the unique personalities of each model, looks will be styled by Wendy Woods, founder of the creative image consulting company The Refinery. Come help raise awareness and funds for a great cause, and stock up on some of the best styles Canada has to offer. The event is Wednesday, October 27th from 8pm to 11pm at Shopgirls Gallery Boutique, 1342 Queen West. Tickets are $20 and include a free drink and a gift bag.
