The Hermes Kelly bag gets a super-sized makeover

The Selfridges installation allows customers to travel inside the iconic bag

While everyone may not be lucky enough to carte around an iconic Hermes Kelly bag, London’s Selfridges holiday exhibit Kellydoscope allows you to go on a surrealist trip with the infamous tote. The original It-bag (named after Grace Kelly, who used it to cover her pregnancy from the press) has been turned into a 4-meter high installation for the holidays. The giant bag is made from the same materials and to the exact scale as the original, giving revelers the opportunity to climb inside and see the world through the eyes of an accessory—with a little help from multi-sensory video technology and special effects, of course. Incase your holiday travels land you on the other side of the pond, this quirky and interactive experience will be on display through November 30th at Selfridges in London.
