Sprouse-d Up
We can all use a little more punk rock in our lives. And thanks to Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton we can put it in our wardrobes this January with über-cool flouro-brights and graffiti prints by the late, great artist and designer Stephen Sprouse. To coincide with ‘Rock on Mars’, a Sprouse retrospective at the Deitch Gallery in New York City, LV is releasing a new capsule collection of neon minis and graffiti-print leggings that are sure to cause a riot. Loco for Coco
A peek inside the world of Canada’s supermodel of the moment is just a click away now with the re-launch of Coco Rocha’s personal website, complete with a blog that serves as a journal of go-sees and international travel. Sure, the photos are gorgeous and the diary enviable, but our favourite part is the video gallery where Coco shares her goofy side, and that of other catwalk beauties. Check out this link and be sure to look out for hilarious Aerosmith lipsynching by Coco and Behati Prinsloo.

Perchance to Dream of LV

Perchance to Dream of LV

Perchance to Dream of LV

Few women have the chance to have their perfect shoe and handbag created for them. Fewer still, will have them created by a luxury leather goods powerhouse. Ah, to be Sofia Coppola. Not only has she been outfitted in Marc Jacobs way before he started wearing contacts, the Oscar-winning director extraordinaire has collaborated on a capsule line for his other label, Louis Vuitton. Dreamt up from the things she always wanted but couldn’t find, the collection includes peep toe wedge sandals with a 70s vibe, and all purpose duffel, appropriately named The SC Bag, and a subdued pochette. Available in Canada in March.

Comme des Garçons for Louis Vuitton
Product photography, Jean-Marc Cédile

Comme (or go) to Japan
Comme des Garçons designer Rei Kawakubo has been a busy lady lately. Fresh off her riot-inducing collection for H&M, the avant-garde artiste has created six one-off bags for luxury house Louis Vuitton. To celebrate the powerhouse collaboration, Kawakubo redesigned one of her Tokyo Comme des Garçons stores in homage, flanking it in the unmistakable LV monogram, until mid December. But unless you’re planning a trip to Japan soon, you’re out of luck—the collection is only available at the redesigned store.
