After an in-depth selection process and much anticipation, the Toronto Fashion Incubator (TFI) has revealed the four emerging Canadian designers who will complete in the TFI 2014 New Labels Fashion Design Competition for Most Promising New Label, presented by Suzanne Rogers. From left, Toronto-based designers Miriam Baker (Alice Azur), Ashley Boutchér (Nomad of the Sun), Christopher Paunil & Chalo Barrueta (Christopher Paunil Designs) and Laura Siegel (Laura Siegel Collection) will vie for this year’s grand prize: $25,000 cash, a full-page feature in FLARE and lookbook production for the winning collection, provided by CoverGirl and Pantene.

Fashion VIPs and industry aficionados will gather in support of the non-profit TFI on May 5 at One King West, where the winner will be announced by master of ceremonies Jeanne Beker. Tickets are available here and net proceeds will benefit community programs, services and training for new and emerging fashion entrepreneurs.
