For Aimee Song, of the much-loved personal style blog Song of Style, it’s all in the mix. That’s what she had in mind when she collaborated with Canadian etailer eLUXE on an exclusive line of t-shirts and sweatshirts emblazoned with two of her favourite sayings: Voila (the L.A. emphasis is in tribute to her beloved hometown) and Do Epic Chic. “My sister and I are big graphic tee and sweatshirt people,” she says. “I’ll wear a Tupac or Biggie sweatshirt with the most feminine skirts ever. I just like that juxtaposition between sporty and luxe.” The collaboration is available on eLUXE today—but hurry! These easy-going pieces promise to sell out fast.

“For the holidays, [I would wear the tops] with a cute statement necklace and a fun, bright coloured skirt,” Song advises. Today, the blogger is a model of this ethos in an adorable flouncy tangerine mini with Chanel chain-trimmed boots and plenty of gold jewellery. “My style is a mix and match of everything because I travel so much.” To mix it up this holiday, Song suggests unexpected sequins—“I’m so over sequins on a dress. Try a sequin sweater or a sequin mini skirt with a boxy top.” Or try a suit: “Instead of a dress, a great tailored suit in a bright colour would be really cute,” she says. “I also really like open back pieces—the understated sexiness of it. I love maxi dresses too.” The last necessity for a Song of Style holiday look? “Over accessorizing, as always.” If Song’s look is any indication, the eccentric mix is nothing to shy away from.
