For the first time ever, two top Canadian labels will let fashion fans shop the collections online after the shows. With a little help from flash sale site The Peacock Parade, designers Alia and Jamil Juma of Juma and Denis Gagnon will bring their works to life and straight to your doorstep following the runway debut of their Spring 2012 lines at Toronto Fashion Week.

“Both designers have a great following,” shared Jan Gandhi and Nancy Sahota of The Peacock Parade, “we love Denis Gagnon’s ability to create form fitting pieces with amazing structure that give just enough edge and Juma’s brilliant prints that can turn a simple silhouette into something really special.”

With a two month turnaround, shoppers simply click to buy their favourite pieces after the show and the garments they choose will be ready in time for the holiday season. And with six styles to choose from per designer, this Canadian fashion first is an initiative we hope to see grow as the seasons go on.
