Hannah Bronfman, 25, Entrepreneur, DJ and Philanthropist
Yes, her last name might open doors—after all, her great-great-grandfather, Samuel, built up Montreal’s Seagram empire. But Bronfman is no slouch herself, juggling a fledgling tech company with DJ gigs, charitable projects and savvy investments.

The Bronfmans no longer own Seagram, but the brand is alive and well
I describe what I do by saying: “I just began a start-up and I’m a DJ whose passion lies in the healthy and wellness sphere.”
My newest project: “Beautified—an app I co-founded with Annie Evans and Peter Hananel. We set out to change the way people book beauty appointments. Each day, we serve up a curated list of high-end spas and salons [whose services can be booked on-the-go from your phone]. Stay tuned for our eventual entrance into Canada!”
My family trait: “I have a business mind like my grandpa.”
My favourite part of Canada: “Lake Muskoka—where my boyfriend (Canadian Brendan Fallis, also a DJ) has a cottage. The last time I went, I learned how to dock a boat, which I called parallel parking!”
My latest fashion addiction: “You can never have too many Organic by John Patrick tees.”
If I was a film character: “Dream: Bond Girl. Reality: Dionne from Clueless.”
