Daeun Janet Kim

24, Graphic Designer and Creative Assistant at Hudson’s Bay: “I work with the design team to create the heritage brand product extensions, from bikinis to tote bags— it’s exciting to mix the old with the new.”

Closet Case: “I’m a bit obsessed with Emmanuelle Alt. Just a bit.”

Uniform Drerssing:  “I live in destroyed Current/Elliott boyfriend jeans in the summer, and I always wear two gold Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane rings on my index finger.”

Lust List: “My boyfriend’s Rolex.”

Beauty Buff: “Minimal and natural: argan oil as a nighttime moisturizer, coconut oil for hair and body.”

Hidden Talent: “I received a Polaroid camera as a birthday gift and I’ve started a nude portrait collection using Impossible Silver Shade Cool film, a new black-and- white instant film. I love that it’s so unpredictable. My portraits are on projectanonymousb.tumblr.com.”

Toronto Go-To: “The Beach [in the east end]. I grew up by the water in Vancouver, so I was a little skeptical of Toronto’s ‘beach’ at first, but it is beautiful there.”

Shopping List: “The White Space at Hudson’s Bay carries some of my favourites: Theory, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Elizabeth and James. Gravity- pope is also great. I used to shop at the Vancouver location—there’s now one in Toronto and I couldn’t be happier.”
