São Paulo Fashion Week got a bit of an edge with Amapô designers Carolina Gold and Pitty Taliani. Backstage before the show, all was quiet and serene as the models were taken through hair and makeup (again, plenty of vibrant colour), which gave no indication as to what would come down the runway just moments later. With NEON designers Rita Comparato and Dudu Bertholini in the front row, Gold and Taliani presented a collection of undone layers and rich textures while models, both male and female, stomped to Linkin Park and Evanescence. Among the standouts: a dress of shiny silver and white cubes and diamonds, a couple covered in green, burgundy and blue velvet (with her in bows), and a braided-front jacket.
