Selena Gomez is all grown up. From the risqué Spring Breakers to sizzling music videos for her hits “Come & Get It” and “Slow Down”, the 21-year-old film star, fashion entrepreneur and multiplatinum-selling pop artist – whose first solo album, (i.e. without her band, The Scene), Stars Dance debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 – has ditched her clean-cut image for a mature but tasteful reincarnation of the girl next door. Toronto fans are sure to see skin-bearing outfits lifted from the Latin beauty’s red carpet style as her Stars Dance World Tour takes over the Air Canada Center on August 24. Inspired by her fashion awakening, FLARE shows you how to a make a fresh and sassy statement of your own with some of our favourite Selena Gomez red carpet looks.

Selena turned heads earlier this month at the Teen Choice Awards as she exposed her best assets in a Cushnie et Ochs forest green dress with double thigh-high slits. She kept it sleek and sophisticated with pin straight locks, Neil Lane sky blue earrings, nude Nicholas Kirkwood pumps and a fresh face for the camera.

At the Radio Disney Awards Music Awards in April, Selena embraced the leather trend in a Vince top, pairing it with a right-from-the-runway Blumarine black and white wrap mini with a large-size floral pattern and Nicholas Kirkwood sandals with a polka-dotted heel. She opted for sleek straight hair, berry lips and red toes.

Selena was pastel pretty at the Kids Choice Awards in March in an Oscar de la Renta sleeveless, light blue peplum top and crisp white shorts. With her hair down and pulled back at the crown, the good girl at heart put her best foot forward in silver metallic Gucci sandals and carried a peach-hued Diane Von Furstenberg clutch packed with the essentials for a smoky eye and glossy lips.
