What’s love got to do with it? In this case, everything. Toronto-based designer Philip Sparks welcomes the fall season with his latest collection inspired by the silhouettes of the early 1900s and a little thing call love. Sparks, who recently wed fashion editor Andrew Sardone, talked us through his latest line but spilled that his recent walk down the aisle was the real core behind the collection’s mood. Love and design? Certainly sounds like the perfect match!

Ruffled hem dresses, empire waists and a touch of velvet and silk complete the designer’s fall and holiday look.  With hints of deep purples, dark plaids, and sophisticated prints, Sparks’ latest offering certainly rounded out his Edwardian inspiration.

Our favourite pick is this velvet blazer with a fitted body and puff shoulder. Sleek enough to be worn more than once at any festive soiree, and it’s got just the right amount of drama for your entrance and exit.
