The Toronto Fashion Incubator (TFI) is now looking for candidates for its New Labels 2012 fashion design competition. If you think you have what it takes to compete with the best young designers in the country, or you simply want to learn more about creating a runway-worthy collection, pick up tickets to their upcoming seminar on October 25. The informative session will include tips on preparing a winning application from last year’s winner, Golnaz Ashtiani. Design consultant Natalya Willy will also discuss the creation of a cohesive, fashionable collection.

Not yet convinced that this competition is for you? If selected, you will have the chance to compete for $25,000 cash, a 24/7 studio at TFI and a one-page feature in FLARE. The final competition will take place at TFI’s 25th anniversary gala in May at the ROM Crystal.

Golnaz Ashtiani will be showing tomorrow at 3:30pm at Toronto Fashion Week with her New Labels competitor, Caitlin Power.
