The audience at Thomas’ Season 3 collection was lulled by its hypnotic soundtrack and languid stride of its co-ed cast, setting the tone for a parade of monochromatic, minimal ensembles. Sending out androgynous looks in ecru and faded black, the design duo’s stark vision made a clear statement on pulling off occult looks in fair weather. Staple leather skinnies were chopped to the knee, and paneled t-shirts were cut in whisper-thin sheers.

It was the hints of bare skin that kept anything from feeling too heavy, like the slashed-knee cigarette pants that winked a sliver of the thigh with every step. The most successful looks were the ones with the greatest movement; trailing tails from a shirt dress, skipping zippers that extended beyond the body of the garment, and a utilitarian apron belt floating from the hips.
