Designers Shawna Robinson and Natalie Sydoruk of Label presented a short film, entitled A Dangerous Mind, alongside a rail of their Fall 2012 samples at an intimate presentation in Toronto last week just before the official start of fashion week. Inspired by the field of psychoanalysis and the movie Girl Interrupted, the line this season includes prints reminiscent of the iconic Rorschach test and tougher design elements such as leather insets and exposed zippers.

“We are just trying to keep everything with easy fits [and] also keeping the prices at a reasonable price point. We try and make building blocks for your wardrobe so you can incorporate your own style into the Label piece,” the designers told FLARE. The urban, minimalist designs are all locally produced and retail between $50 and $400. Standout styles in the small collection include a knit top with a detachable leather back panel, and a printed t-shirt piped in leather.
