Fresh, pared-down beauty was on the menu backstage at BCBG this morning. Maybelline New York global makeup artist Charlotte Willer crafted a simply elegant, “super natural” look to match Max Azria’s spare yet floaty chiffon dresses. A touch of base, pink illuminator on the cheeks and a pale pink lipstain (Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstain) gave the girls a groomed, pulled-together look. Eyes were subtly dressed in a simple wash of ivory shadow while a no-mascara message kept the look understated. The finishing touch: brows were brushed upwards and lightly filled in with Maybelline Define-a-Brow. “It frames the eyes nicely,” says Willer. A surefire sign that brows will still reign supreme in 2011. Meanwhile, Bumble & Bumble stylist Neil Moodie gave the girls a classically elegant lowslung ponytail finished with nothing but Bumble & Bumble Tonic Spray.
