It all starts with shoes. Street style darling and editor extraordinaire Caroline Issa is set to debut a new line of shoes and bags with London label (and Middleton-approved!) L.K. Bennett. While Kate’s holding onto her coveted neutral-hued pumps, Issa is pushing the design limits at the house of Bennett with a capsule collection of spring things launching February 19. The Montreal-born fashion insider has adorned a range of shoes and bags with punchy embellishments including Thai-inspired embroidery, flowers and even pom-poms. From neon brights to busy zig-zags, Issa’s new line sounds like the perfect blogger bait for the fashion weeks ahead.
While she holds the title of fashion director and publisher at Tank Magazine as well as editor-in-chief of BecauseLondon.com, the insider has found the time to front international campaigns for Jimmy Choo and J.Crew, and now design what will be a highly coveted collection of stylish extras.
With only six pairs of shoes and two bags in the mix, the editor didn’t hold back when it came to coming up with her must-have silhouettes. Expect to find sandals, stilettos, booties, kitten heels and loafers in the mini offering, starting at $392 for shoes and $440 for bags. Find the L.K. Bennett London by Caroline Issa collection online and in-stores on February 19.
