Describe your style in five words: AllBlackEverything, minimalist, mad hatter, effortless, oversized.
Can’t-live-without item? I can’t live without my Brixton large fedora. Bu-bye bad hair days!
Go-to coffee or après-work drink spot: Cafe Parvis is quite special, it’s like being transported to a Tuscan village.
Fave store: Love, love, love Aritzia.
DAHYE JUNG, MONTREAL
Describe your style in five words: Feminine, simple, timeless, classic and easy.
Your favourite Instagram post in 2016: The best view of Manarola to ring in the New Year! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and the pictures do not even do it justice.
Can’t-live-without item? I’ve been obsessed with M.A.C lipstick in Persistence—it’s a warm brown that looks great day and night!
Go-to coffee or après-work drink spot: For coffee, I love Tommy Café for the beautiful interior (#plantgoals). And for drinks, I love the coziness of Henrietta on Laurier. All of the cocktails are dangerously delicious, and the bar snacks are SO good. Try their popcorn, and you’ll know what I mean.
Fave store: I love window-shopping at Les Etoffes whenever I’m hanging around the Mile-End. They have the best selection of brands that are otherwise hard to find in Montreal, like Mansur Gavriel and Maison Louis Marie perfumes. Another place I check out from time to time is Stockmarkt in St. Henri. They have the craziest sales, like 70 percent off Acne and James Perse.

Describe your style in five words: Minimalist, chic, trendy, classic, timeless.

Can’t-live-without item? My phone and my Lise Watier Quator eyeshadow palette .
Go-to coffee or après-work drink spot: Le Comptoir or Ferreira are my favourites to eat with friends.
Fave store: Online would be Sokoloff Lingerie, and my fave offline spot is C’Glam.
CAROLYNN LACASSE, OTTAWA
Describe your style in five words: “Borrowed from the boys,” monochromatic, minimal, delicate and layered.
Your favourite Instagram post in 2016? Definitely the above grey-on-grey one taken by my friend, the hugely-talented Celia Spenard-Ko (@ceeesk). She was able to capture my personality and personal style all in one picture.
Can’t-live-without item? A white silk blouse and Oscar Blandi dry shampoo.
Go-to coffee or après-work drink spot: My favourite place for a coffee is the beautiful Blumen Studio. It’s one part coffee shop, other part florist. You can come for a coffee and leave with a beautiful bloom or bouquet. Also, the newly renovated Social has the perfect $6 glass of sparkling until 6 p.m. every night of the week—you’ll find me there at least once a week!
Fave store: Goods Shop on Dalhousie Street North, which is a painstakingly curated gift shop. If I could buy everything, I would! I also love Viens Avec Moi: co-owners Renée Morra are Sophie Beaudoin are Ottawa style icons. And White Monkey—whether you’re looking for a mid-century modern chair or bar accessories that look like they came off the set of Mad Men, you can find at this perfectly decorated antique shop.
JOELLE ANELLO, TORONTO
Describe your style in five words: Feminine, playful, simple, fun, and relatable.
Your favourite Instagram post in 2016? I love all of my Instagram photos, but I’m particularly drawn to those of my brunches—they always make me hungry!
Can’t-live-without item? I’m a sucker for headwear; scarves, hats, headbands—I love them all! Headwear can take even the simplest outfit and turn it into something special.
Go-to coffee or après-work drink spot? My favourites are Neo Coffee Bar, Rooster Coffee and Odin—pretty much anywhere that makes a good matcha latte!
Fave store: I love grabbing a latte and shopping around Yorkville. There larger retailers like Free People and Anthropologie, and lots of adorable boutiques as well. My favourite florist is also close by—Avenue and Davenport—so that always makes for the perfect après-shopping treat!
ALYSSA GARRISON, TORONTO
Describe your style in five words: Sparkly, colourful, fun, feminine and a little bit fairytale.
Your favourite Instagram post in 2016? I’d have to go with my visit to That Pink Door in Palm Springs—that day was so amazing and the photo really captured a special sunny moment.
Can’t-live-without item? My new T3 Whirl Trio curling wand —I was never able to master the art of curling irons until recently, and now I’m pretty much addicted. Plus, having the three barrel sizes on hand is a total life saver!
Go-to coffee or après-work drink spot? For tea and coffee, it’s always Kitten and the Bear (they have scone milk lattes!), and cocktail-wise I’m constantly at Her Majesty’s Pleasure, getting my nails done at the bar while I’m sipping.
Fave store: Convey, Loversland, Hayley Elsaesser and Souvenir Studios—just to name a few! There’s always something new and exciting popping up in the city.
NATHALIE MARTIN, TORONTO
Describe your style in five words: Minimal and edgy yet simple.
Your favourite Instagram post in 2016? The #OOTD pictured above.
Can’t-live-without item? Make Up For Ever’s HD concealer! It’s a two-step process but it really gets rid of my dark under eyes.
Go-to coffee or après-work drink spot? I love Butter Avenue for a sweet fix.
Fave store: I visit Sephora a couple of times a week. For clothes, I love online shopping at Aritzia and SSENSE.
GABY BURGER, TORONTO
Describe your style in five words: Classic, modern, edgy, comfortable, neutral.
Your favourite Instagram post in 2016? I love this floral backdrop I created with some friends for a Galentine’s afternoon tea. It doesn’t get more dreamy than floating flowers!
Can’t-live-without item? My denim jacket and leather vest; I’m always layering them. And I can’t live without my YSL Touche Eclat and Tatcha Gold Camellia Oil.
Go-to coffee or après-work drink spot? I don’t drink coffee but I love a good cup of green tea so when I’m out and about I usually stop at Sud Forno, Portland Variety or Early Bird Espresso Bar.
Fave store: I rarely have time to shop in stores so I normally hit the web when it comes to shopping (so easy!). Some of my favourites are Aritzia, Zara and Madewell.
BECKY KUNG, CALGARY
Describe your style in five words: Feminine and chic with an edge.
Your favourite Instagram post in 2016? This bathtub shot! Yes, I am literally enjoying a hot bath while shooting for a Valentine’s blog project. This shot reflected our creativity in showing how I use my favourite products!
Can’t-live-without item? My Anine Bing sunglasses—I pack them everywhere I go and even find myself wearing them on cloudy days.
Go-to coffee or après-work drink spot: Alforno Cafe, a new eatery that opened in Calgary. I especially love their daily food and drink specials. Also, Pigeon Hole for cocktails—they make the best old-fashioneds in the city!
Fave store: I love visiting Adorn Boutique, it’s cute and has such personality, plus it carries the best Australian brands. I often go to Plant in Inglewood, too. There’s something about plants and terrariums that offer so much inspiration.
MELANIE MORAIS, CALGARY
Describe your style in 5 words: Bold, colourful, classic, sophisticated and chic.
Your favourite Instagram post in 2016: When I was standing on a frozen lake in Banff. I’m usually pretty afraid of water so it was a big deal for me!
Can’t-live-without item: My Karen Walker sunnies. I wear them every day! They’re the perfect shape and timeless. In terms of beauty, I am completely obsessed with any red lipstick—my all time favourite is Heatwave by NARS.
Go-to coffee or après-work drink spot: My boyfriend and I love to go to Ox and Angela, which is a Spanish tapas restaurant. It’s absolutely delicious and makes the best mojito I’ve ever had!
Fave store: I’m more of an online shopping kind of girl to be honest, but Adorn Boutique and Bamboo Ballroom are great!
JESSICA LUXE, VANCOUVER
Describe your style in five words: Edgy, urban, feminine, eclectic, chameleonic
Your favourite Instagram post in 2016? If I’m being a total narcissist, it’s a shot from a Valentine’s Day editorial I spent weeks planning with my creative partner. So many things had to line up perfectly to pull it off.
Can’t-live-without item? My Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer for oily skin! Life. Saver.
Go-to coffee or après-work drink spot? Moscow mules from Chambar for after-work drinks.
Fave store: USED House of Vintage on Robson, Courtney Boutique in Kerrisdale and Wardrobe Apparel in Gastown. Otherwise I do a lot of online shopping!
LUCY YUN, VANCOUVER
Describe your style in five words: Edgy, funky, sporty yet feminine.
Your favourite Instagram post in 2016? A picture from Madeira Park on Sunshine Coast which is one of the beautiful B.C. islands, about 45-minute ferry ride away from Vancouver.
Can’t-live-without item? M.A.C Lipstick in Korean Candy! I look like a ghost without it.
Go-to coffee or après-work drink spot? Lately I’ve been frequenting Buro Coffee in Gastown. If I’m craving beer, I’d most likely hit Tacofino, Guu Izakaya or Suika!
Fave store: Middle Sister Boutique is my favourite! The owner has a great eye for curating funky, one-of-a-kind styles from Seoul, Montreal and Vancouver.
ALEXA SUTER, VANCOUVER
Describe your style in five words: Spontaneous, classic, feminine, comfortable and soft.
Your favourite Instagram post in 2016? This gorgeous sunset I captured on the beach right outside my apartment!
Can’t-live-without item? Honestly, my cherry Chapstick. Chapstick-brand addicted! I also love my Sephora bronzer/highlighter duo.
Go-to coffee or après-work drink spot? Faubourg, for a little piece of Paris in Vancouver. It has the most amazing macarons.
Fave store: Barefoot Contessa on Main St., where my line of skirts are currently being carried. It is such a beautiful boutique and the decor is very Parisian.
