Imagine if you could commission a favourite artist’s work to print on your T-shirts. That’s exactly what Marni designer Consuelo Castiglioni did for a new haute tee collection. The artist, Gary Hume, is a British abstract-graphics master and his artwork is a perfect match to the artsy types that adore Marni’s offbeat style. Versions of the limited-edition top are available in wear-with-anything black or blush pink. We’d sport these painterly basics with a very Marni-esque peplum skirt, quirky spectacles, and the air of an Italian Contessa. It’s a bellissima look that says ciao ciao to those unforgivable slogan tees or ripped-to-shreds tanks.
