The fashion flock gathered last night for amfAR’s New York Gala to kick off the Fall 2011 shows. Although there were a bevy of fashion insiders, we think that Carine Roitfeld stole the show in her heavenly Givenchy couture gown. The former editor-in-chief of Paris Vogue took a break from her standard black attire and opted for an ethereal white number that boasted elaborate wing embroidered detailing. The sheer panels and flashes of fluorescent gave the dress an updated edge that beautifully complimented the angelic style.
