Beyoncé isn’t the only icon H&M has partnered with this week. Top models Joan Smalls, Daphne Groeneveld, Lindsey Wixson and Liu Wen are the inspiration behind, and faces fronting, H&M’s latest line for spring, “The New Icon Collection.” Based on each model’s street style the collection features leather jackets, denim cut-offs, fringed bags and ankle boots. It’s the ideal off-duty model look: effortlessly cool basics that can slide right into your existing wardrobe.
“The jacket in this collection is amazing — [the whole collection] really fits into my personal style and it’s something that I will definitely wear on a daily basis,” Wen says. The casual, mix-and-match pieces are perfect for running from show to show during Fashion Week mayhem. Or in a more likely scenario for the rest of womankind, running from pilates class to the grocery store. Even more good news? The collection, launching this April, will be consistent with H&M’s affordable price point. So any woman can channel her inner model without damaging her credit rating.
