Dr. Martens kicks up the classic lace-up for Spring.

The longevity of a label relies on a fine balance of staying on trend with a contemporary customer and preserving brand identity. Come April 1st, Dr. Martens celebrates its admirable 50th anniversary. To mark the date, a sleek pebbled leather version of tried and true 1460s – the most iconic 8-eye boot  – will be released in limited quantity. Only 1460 pairs per colour will run internationally. In much wider release, Dr. Martens offers an extensive palette of colours, prints, and textures for Spring/Summer 2010. Signature heel-loops, contrast topstitching, and a substantial sole do well to maintain the brand’s identity in an array of florals, polka dots, patent metallics, and our new favourite: this navy Tec Tuff boot. With the look of canvas and durability of leather, it’s the ideal shoe for your transitional spring wardrobe.
