Age will not get in the way of Kate Moss’ modelling career. The recently-turned 40-year-old has been announced as the face of Alexander McQueen’s Spring 2014 ad campaign, and surprisingly, this is the first time she has fronted a campaign for the brand. Shot by renowned photographer Steven Klein, Moss stuns in a dramatic, orange-gold crop, with luminescent skin and bleached out eyebrows and lashes–reminiscent of actress Tilda Swinton.
To accompany the images, the supermodel stars in a haunting futuristic film, also shot by Klein, inspired by Sixties British cult thriller, Peeping Tom. The short is shot from the point view of an unknown voyeur who follows Moss through a dark street in East London, into a desolate building where she takes off her clothes. To make the film all the more creepy, there’s a replica doll version of the model–orange-gold hair and all. Very Time Burton-esque!
