After hosting parties with young design heavyweights like Proenza Schouler, Nicola Formichetti, and Thakoon (just to name a few), The Room at The Bay has announced that Kate and Laura Mulleavy, designers of Rodarte, will be joining the top roster of guests by making a personal appearance at the high-end retailer this month.

The month of May is sure to be a busy one for the Rodarte girls. In addition to their Toronto jaunt, the Mulleavy’s are also costuming the L.A. Philharmonic’s performance of Mozart’s Don Giovanni, as well as working on a ballet by Natalie Portman’s husband Benjamin Millepied.

Nicholas Mellamphy, Creative Director of The Room, announced via Twitter that Jeanne Beker, former host of Fashion Television, will join the design stars for an intimate conversation about their work and rise to fashion stardom on May 24. The interview marks Beker’s first public appearance since the end of Fashion Television.

Join the trio on Wednesday May 24 from 12:00 to 1:30pm at The Room at The Bay on Queen Street.
