Tucked beside Canadian label Pink Tartan’s flagship shop in Yorkville and across from Anthropologie, Free People has just opened up an inspiring three-level space filled its signature bobo-meets-globetrotter apparel line complete with intimates and a new range of denim.

An overblown mood board from India, hand-painted murals, bejeweled lanterns and metal leafed trees sparkle inside the cozy space with walls lined in white washed brick (some were ever covered in signature fabrics!). Patchwork denim, lacy tops and light knits were all spotted while we toured the brand’s first Canadian shop which kept its main collection on the first and second floor, while reserving an petite space downstairs for its intimates line. Exit through the front entrance and head below for bold bras “that are meant to be seen and shown off,” as told to us by Doub Hanshaw, creative director, who gave us a sneak peek at the new flagship. The intimates shop-in-shop is the first of its kind for the brand, making this opening extra special for all of Free People’s Canadian fans.
