Renowned British denim label, HUDSON Jeans, has launched its latest campaign starring Georgia May Jagger and male supermodel Jon Kortajarena. The “LET YOURSELF GO” campaign features double-page spreads of Jagger and Kortajarena in a combination of action shots and ‘hero’ poses. And (of course) the Union Jack makes numerous appearances. Hitting local newsstands in coming months, the campaign will strive to resonate HUDSON’s brand mantra: #LETYOURSELFGO.
Shot by photographer Sebastian Kim, who has framed campaigns for clients like Calvin Klein and Jean Paul Gaultier, the series of black and white images is not the first time HUDSON has turned to monochrome (the brand’s last campaign featured Jagger on what appeared to be an Instagram page.) “We chose black and white photography to start because of its minimally beautiful aesthetic and nature,” said HUDSON’s creative director, Ben Taverniti.
With creative and art direction by Patrizio Miceli’s Paris-based Al Dente agency, the campaign’s minimalistic approach might just be its most gleaming quality. Industry leaders in creating beautiful advertising content, Al Dente has developed campaigns for Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Jimmy Choo and Thierry Mugler (just to name a few).
The campaign will launch globally on July 18, 2013, at Selfridges’ Oxford Street store in London during an event hosted by Georgia May Jagger herself. Jagger, now entering her fourth year with HUDSON (started in 2009), has become the brand’s international face, gracing the pages of fashion and lifestyle publications worldwide.
When you think of HUDSON, you think of Georgia May Jagger.
