We’ve long had a soft spot for the soft-soled élan of Toms. As you probably know, this feel-good line of footwear operates on a one-for-one model – for every pair sold, a new pair is given to an impoverished child in need. Teaming up with Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, founder Blake Mycoskie is stepping up his fashion game this fall. In collaboration with the Olsen-helmed label The Row, the trio have just released their Italian wool and cashmere blend chic slipper flats, available exclusively at Holt Renfrew in Canada ($110 to $175). The fashion team was clearly smitten, and though our styles may indeed be divergent, we can all agree this is one stylish shoe. Here’s how we wear our Toms x The Row.

Mosha Lundström Halbert, Associate Fashion News Editor
“This fall, I’m mad for plaid. It’s a Canadian’s fashion duty to sport tartan with abandon. Here, I wore my Toms with a favourite kilt, a lucky blue blazer (everyone needs one) and a wardrobe workhouse: this sharp leather button-up designed by super-stylist George Antonopoulos.”

The Look
: Blazer, vintage. Leather shirt, Object by Danier. Skirt, Isabel Marant. Bag, Mulberry. Sunglasses, Celine. Bracelets, Carven.

Fiona Green, Associate Fashion Editor
“I saw a real menswear influence in these patterned Toms, so I went with mix-and-match suiting. A boxy blazer over skinny leather pants and a dip-dyed button-up was my take on the classic borrowed-from-the-boys approach.”

The Look
: Blazer, Gestuz. Button-up shirt, Rita Liefhebber. Leather pants, Diesel.

Erin O’Brien, Assistant Market Editor
“My look plays off the vintage loungewear vibe that these Toms evoke. I paired a printed kimono top with tried-and-true separates for a downtime vibe made daytime ready.”

The Look
: Jacket, French Connection. Top, Joe Fresh. Necklace, Winners. Jeans, DL1961.

Dane Tredway, Assistant Fashion Editor
“These slip-ons are perfect for a low-key day, and I carried that feel through with causal layers, a mix of stripes and checks, and an earthy palette of camel, khaki and forest green.”

The Look
: Sweater, Club Monaco. Shirt, Gap. Vest and shorts, Banana Republic.
