The British Fashion Council has named Christopher Kane the winner of the 2011 BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund. Kane beat out nominees Osman Yousefzada, Richard Nicoll, Peter Pilotto, Jonathan Saunders, menswear designer Patrick Grant and shoe designers Nicholas Kirkwood and Charlotte Dellal  — UK
