After teaming up with Japanese design firm Nendo for their ‘Wandering Forest’ windows in Tokyo, ultra-luxe brand Hermès is celebrating this year’s chosen theme, ‘The Gift of Time’ with window displays designed by Dutch artist Kiki van Eijk, which can be seen in Canada at their Vancouver outpost.
Each display represents a different way of interpreting time, drawing on the brands philosophy and history. The windows feature different surrealist figures, horses and frogs, and clocks, with painterly watercolour landscapes. The windows also reference Hermès’ iconography, displaying their most classic pieces and playing with the house’s equestrian beginnings.
This is the first time Hermès has collaborated with the artist, and the windows will be displayed at the Vancouver store all summer.
