Here Comes the Bride: 5 Celeb Weddings to Watch

We can't wait to see what these stylish brides-to-be wear down the aisle—so we're making our predictions now. Behold: the prettiest Spring 2016 dresses (and one standout accessory) that would be perfect for a celebrity wedding

Gwen Stefani’s pink ombre skirt, Kate Middleton’s sleeves, Angelina’s colourfully embroidered veil, Solange’s caped jumpsuit—sometimes wedding dresses transcend the #blessed occasion to become a capital F, capital M, Fashion Moment. We’re anticipating some serious wow-factor when these next set-to-be-wed celebs walk down the aisle. Here are our predictions for what they’ll wear on their big day.

FKA twigs

Could you see FKA twigs in a sweetheart strapless Vera Wang? Neither can we. Her avant-garde style has earned her a place amongst the fashion elite, and she’s already had some big moments, like wearing the iconic Birds of Paradise gown at a dinner and museum exhibit launch honoring the late Alexander McQueen. And who can forget her Christopher Kane gown at the Met Gala? (It had a penis on it, and was considered tame for twigs.) For her upcoming wedding to Robert Pattinson, we predict something darkly romantic and provocative, like this sheer lace Givenchy Spring 2016 dress.

Ruby Rose

Everyone’s #WomanCrushWednesday of the moment is Orange is the New Black’s breakout new addition, Ruby Rose. She is currently enjoying a prolonged engagement to British fashion designer, Phoebe Dahl, and an exploding social media and pop culture presence. Her wedding attire needs to be modern, skin-baring (to show off those badass tattoos), and have a minimalist finish to complement her delicate features. Don’t come between Ruby and this Calvin Klein Spring 2016.

Lady Gaga

Choosing a dress for her is tricky, because it all depends who decides to show up—Stephanie Germanotta or Lady Gaga? If it’s Gaga, we opt for going huge, and we mean HUGE—this is the woman who has worn a meat dress and made an entrance in an egg, so subtle isn’t in order. A frothy, punky Vivienne Westwood would definitely fit the bill. And while the focus is on the dress, LG has also been known to go bold with her headwear—this Philip Treacy creation screams “pop royalty.”

Grace Gealey

It’s an Empire wedding! Grace is engaged to her co-star, Trai Byers, who plays her stepson on the show, so whoever DJs this wedding had better bring it. Her red carpet style veers toward sophisticated looks in muted shades like pastel green, yellow and pink. This cut-out Vera Wang gown from the Spring 2016 collection is modern and will certainly command everyone’s attention, even if Cookie shows up.

Mary-Kate Olsen

Mary-Kate, engaged to French businessman Olivier Sarkozy, is often spotted in loose-fitting creations on the street and on red carpet. And while MK and Ashley’s style may not be totally understood outside of the fashion world, their influence on bringing the boho-bougie look (huge sunglasses, unkempt hair) to the masses is immeasurable. For her wedding, we imagine something equal parts edgy, sophisticated and inventive, like this Proenza Schouler look from Spring 2016. But will she go for white? We’ll probably never know, as Mary-Kate and Ashley are notoriously private in both business and pleasure.
