From Oscars favourite to primetime special guest (not to mention singer, cook, style star, and mother) – is there no role Gwyneth Paltrow can’t play? Now that Coach has named Paltrow its new face to celebrate the brands 70th anniversary, the actress can now add international brand ambassador to her extensive resume.
Coach’s president and executive creative director, Reed Krakoff, told WWD that Gwyneth was, “a natural choice [as] she embodies the spirit, energy and elegance of the Coach brand”. Paltrow seemed just as thrilled about the partnership. “I grew up in New York city and I’ve always thought of Coach as the quintessential New York brand….I’ll never forget getting my first Coach bag.”
