It’s as though Brit model muse Georgia May Jagger was born to fuel and fuse music with fashion. As Rolling Stones legend Mick Jagger and runway darling Jerry Hall’s next of kin, there’s no one better than this style progeny to front H&M’s latest rock ‘n’ roll inspired collection. “I think music influences fashion and has done so for generations,” shared Jagger. “Music creates a certain mood and then people dress accordingly. I think it’s all quite closely intertwined.”
Though the collection will launch this February, our sartorial desires have not been discounted for — the Swedish fashion chain has released behind-the-scene photos that see the 20-year-old shooting with iconic photographer Terry Richardson at an impressive English mansion. Modeling highlights from the collection — think tie-dye denim, a studded and sleeveless biker jacket, and a belted shift dress — and styled with a tousled Bardot beehive and kohled-rimmed eyes, Georgia is the vision of a Swinging Sixties seductress, whether she’s sprawled across a Yamaha piano or perched atop a set of drums.
“I love the dress,” Jagger said. “It’s such a versatile piece, and full of new rock ‘n’ roll spirit.” The H&M Rock ‘n’ Roll Mansion spring/summer 2013 collection will be available for purchase later this year.
