Frank + Oak Expanding to Womenswear

Now the ladies can shop for not-so-basic basics from the popular menswear label

The brand beloved for its clean tailoring and elevated basics has heard your pleas—requests apparently numbered in the thousands—and is designing a line of womenswear apparel, set to launch in fall 2016.

“Our aspiration isn’t simply to serve our customers’ girlfriends—we want to build connections with communities of independent, passionate and creative women by providing considered style and a memorable shopping experience,” said Ethan Song, CEO and Co-Founder of Frank + Oak, in a press release.

The debut women’s collection will adhere to the same low-key aesthetic favoured by Frank + Oak’s discerning Millennial customer and include tees, sweaters, blouses, skirts, dresses, pants, outerwear and accessories designed for creative, “pioneering and entrepreneurial women.”

The Montreal-based brand opened its first Toronto flagship store two years ago after amassing a huge following thanks to a slick online shopping experience, popular mobile app and hat tips from men’s fashion stalwarts like GQ and Esquire.
