Fashion Group International’s New York chapter hosted their annual Night of Stars awards, honouring exceptional talents in fashion, beauty and design. Some of fashion’s top names, including Oscar de la Renta, Proenza Schouler’s Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez and Theory’s Olivier Theyskens, braved a rainy night to honour their fellow VIPs.
The evening’s “Luminaries” theme played out over a star-filled evening that included a red carpet, cocktail hour and seated dinner at Cipriani’s Wall Street.
The event’s honorees included Rodarte’s Kate and Laura Mulleavy, Daphne Guinness, Raf Simons of Jil Sander, makeup guru Francois Nars, Wanda Ferragamo and Theory’s Andrew Rosen. Jessica Biel warmly presented designer Giambattista Valli with an award, claiming she would always be a “Valli girl,” while David Lauren presented his new wife, Lauren Bush, with the Humanitarian award for her Feed bag project, United Nations World Food Programme’s School Feeding program.
