Flare Interns Love: Party Dresses

The hottest partly looks from FLARE's Fashion interns

‘Tis the season to be gorgeous. December is just around the corner, and with that the overbooked social calendars and festive soirees galore! As far as parties are concerned, we say the more the merrier, but with time and funds an inevitable factor, Flare’s Fashion interns put together our picks of holiday dresses that will have you party-circuit ready.

When it comes to the LBD, the more sparkle the better. Liselle Fernandes and Josh Gencarelli suggest taking in the festivities with glitter and shine with  a “sparkly and sexy statement dress” from French Connection, and this one-shouldered sequined mini from TIBI. Daidra Richards and Tiffany Aita were also on the same page with a “flirty and sophisticated” number by Rebecca Taylor and an “eye-catching and classic silhouette” by ADAM. Cocktail hour calls for accents that pop, and Stephanie Di Biase’s black embellished French Connection frock is an “elegant yet unapologetically-chic New Years Eve look.”

For something more graphic, opt for
Samantha Boudreau’s choice, a Marc by Marc Jacobs’ knee-length tartan number that “screams holiday dress.” As Caitlin Agnew found, “the combination of neutrals on this Prabal Gurung sweater dress manages to make it pop without using colour.” And for those of you who are looking forward to saying goodbye to 2010 in style down south, the multicolour tiger dress I chose from Diane von Furstenberg will certainly help you unleash your inner party girl.

Happy dressing!
