Pop Culture Prince George turns one on July 22 and to celebrate Vanity Fair is devoting its August cover to the future King of England—or, as the mag refers to him, “a media star, a style icon, and a P.R. triumph.” Here’s hoping that they don’t forget that the “P.R. triumph” is also a baby. Health When does a desire to be healthy fall into cuckoo-bird territory? We’re sure the regular consumption of bone broth has something to do with it; french fashion blogger/photog Garance Dore has a few ideas, too. The number one sign, in her opinion, you’re taking it too far: “You follow more than three Instagram accounts for fitness, yoga, or healthy food. Sex The future of contraception may involve the flick of a switch. According to ELLE, pre-clinical trials are set to commence next year on an as-of-yet unnamed contraceptive implant that can be activated and deactivated via wireless remote control.  The implant, which is basically a controlled-release microchip, is designed to be inserted beneath the skin of the backside, arm or abdomen and can last as long as 16 years. If all goes well, the product could be available by 2018.

Beauty Jennifer Lopez never fails to look H-O-T. Glamour gives the pop/rom-com diva her due for her “flat-out refusal to look bad, ever” and offers a paean to her signature “glow.”

Fashion What does Alexander Wang know about boxing? We’re soon to find out. The creative director of Balenciaga’s much anticipated collection for H&M doesn’t hit stores until November, but the company tweeted a pic of a boxing gloves keychain sporting the AW monogram this week—a sign that the collection will have a sporty bent?
