Coming this fall, London-based Canadian designer Erdem Moralioglu will debut a new collection made exclusively for The Room at The Bay. Inspired by a series of printed jungle orchids, Erdem has blended his signature floral montages with a more moody palette—one that goes hand-in-hand with his fall 2011 collection. The nine-piece range includes a series of separates including skirts, blouses and a range of dresses and scarves. The designer’s past collaborations have included one-off pieces for such brands like Globe-Trotter, the V&A Museum and the buzzy ballet wrapped pumps from Nicholas Kirkwood. If buying for fall feels a world away, perhaps ring up a friend who lives across the pond as Erdem will open his doors to the labels first ever sample sale on June 2.

Erdem for The Room will be available this fall in Toronto (Queen St.) and in the newly renovated Room inside Vancouver’s Granville location, which will host a line-up of labels that includes Jeremy Laing, Halston and DSquared.
